ICICI Prudential rural push nets Rs 100 crore premium

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance have generated over Rs 100 crore in insurance premium from
the rural sector this followers the launch of its new rural enterprise in
February. Under the new
initiative, the company have put up over 260 business offices in rural Centres and
recruited 20,000 advisers dedicated to the rural segment. Under its rural

up with North American Indian Postal Service in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and Gujerat to provide
policyholders insurance premium paying installations in hard cash across each of these states. It have also taken advantage of
the e-governance enterprises in Andhra and Rajasthan to guarantee that
policyholders can utilize the rural cyberspace booths to pay their
premiums. Earlier the company
had launched a biometric smart card that enabled policyholder to transport all his
policy inside information without having to transport documents. Selling policies to those in
